Gino has brought back the Lemon Olive Oil Cake for the holidays, and I'm happy that he did. It's perfect for this time of year!...a quick go-to for a hospitality gift or even a stocking stuffer. And it's all tied up with a pretty holiday ribbon. Not only does it present itself well, it's delicious with a mild lemony sweetness, and it's super moist and savory...I think it's a very sophisticated dessert. I like slicing it into disks and then browning both sides in a bit of butter and topping with our Raspberry and Chambord Jam and some freshly whipped cream.
